Document Auto-categorisation

To aid organisations which deal with multiple, complex form types, Decipha can use automation to sort imaged documents to your business rules.

Under this process, imaged documents are run through intelligent data capture software for splitting, auto categorisation and indexing.

This software relies on a document map library, which stores image templates, keywords and business rules which the software will reference to help determine the correct categorisation of each document.

This categorisation can be into hundreds of categories and sub-categories of document types depending on requirement.

In a similar fashion to data capture validation, documents which are unable to be categorised to a set "level of confidence" by the software can be sent to an operator to validate on-screen.

Our software has the ability to "learn" new documents and their categorisation as processing continues.

 

This is achieved through the validation process above, where a new document is found that cannot be categorised. If confirmed as a new document, it can be added to the document map library to update this knowledge base so these forms can be recognised / categorised going forward.
